Problem Solvers/Tips

1. Check your download speeds, from the main SGTV menu select settings then speedtest. You want to see a download speed of 70mbps or higher. If you do not see the suggested speeds power off and on your modem/router. If you can reposition either your streaming device or the modem/router this may help also signal could be degraded.

2. How to Clear Cache and Data on an Amazon Firestick:

Go to Settings – From the Firestick home screen, navigate to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications.

Select the App – Choose the SGTV application

Clear Cache & Data – Click Clear Cache to remove temporary files, then select Clear Data (this resets the app and removes login information).

Restart Your Firestick – Navigate to Settings > My Fire TV > Restart, or unplug the device for 30 seconds before plugging it back in. When you open the SGTV application please make sure to select allow media access. If not the application will not work. Please try these steps and let us know if the issue is resolved. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

3. Need your login credentials: If you need your login credentials for both live tv and vod you can retrieve each from the payment portals client area. Under the menu tab select services> my services> select the product> on the next screen select IPTV Service Details you will find your login credentials here.

4. Upgrade to a more robust streaming device that's made to handle the requirements of IPTV like the Nvidia Shield or Nvidia Shield Pro. The Amazon fire stick works with maintenance however it was never designed for IPTV use.
